Athlete Highlight: Autumn

Watching my daughter, Autumn, step onto the field with the Miracle League has been nothing short of incredible. For the first time, she gets to play the game she loves alongside other people just like her—people who understand, encourage, and celebrate each other. It’s more than baseball; it’s friendships forming, confidence growing, and moments she deserves to experience just like any other person.  

As her mom, I’ve always been her biggest supporter and often her “buddy” in activities. But here, something beautiful happens, I get to sit in the stands, cheer her on, and simply watch her be herself with her friends. Seeing her laugh, run (well walk) the bases, and make friends on her own is a feeling I can’t quite put into words. 

The Miracle League gives families like ours a place where everyone belongs, and for that, I will always be grateful. 💙💛⚾
